John E. Wootton
John E. Wootton received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Weber State University (Ogden, Utah) and his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law (Salem, Oregon). Mr. Wootton was admitted to the Oregon State Bar and the Utah State Bar in 2001. Mr. Wootton practiced law in Salem, Oregon until relocating to Sandy, Utah in 2004. His office is conveniently located in the center of Salt Lake County.
Mr. Wootton's practice areas include estate planning, trust administration, probate, asset protection, business creation, corporate maintenance, and general business law. Mr. Wootton has represented individual and business clients throughout the United States and was named by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah's Legal Elite in 2007 and 2009.
Mr. Wootton takes a common sense approach to the practice of law by helping his clients avoid common pitfalls through proactive planning. Whether through his vast experience in estate planning and business creation or his unique approach to asset protection and corporate maintenance, Mr. Wootton has developed systems that help his clients feel secure in their business activities and their personal lives.
Mr. Wootton is dedicated Francophile, enjoying everything French. He is an avid reader and World War I history buff.
